Good news for the Biosuphyol project!

An article presenting this project, carried out within the Materials Department of Celabor srl, has just been updated on the website of the FOD Economie / SPF Economie / FPS Economy!

As a reminder, Biosuphyol aims to develop non-toxic and predominantly bio-based (>80%) alternatives to PFAS, for applications requiring both superhydrophobicity and oleophobicity.

The project is being carried out in partnership with Sirris | Innovation forward and targets in particular paper-based packaging and textiles, two sectors likely to contribute significantly to PFAS releases into the environment.

This update to the article notably highlights the first promising results obtained as part of the project.
