Samabriva
Samabriva Biomanufacturing is a company specializing in the industrial-scale production of high-value natural plant molecules (primarily active pharmaceutical ingredients such as alkaloids, terpenes, etc.). The company utilizes an innovative platform to produce these molecules in bioreactors, allowing for the relocation of active molecule production—80% of which is currently produced outside of Europe—while reducing the carbon footprint and controlling production costs.
Once produced and secreted into a suitable culture medium, these molecules must be purified. Our collaboration with Celabor, initiated several years ago, has allowed us to demonstrate the feasibility of purifying such molecules to achieve purities >95%, with virtually no loss of biological material (5%). These results were achieved thanks to close collaboration between the two teams and the professionalism of the Celabor team, who demonstrated great commitment to our development projects.
