The project aims to develop functional, modular pools enabling optimized water and energy management in tomorrow’s sustainable housing. As stated by Eloy Water’s Sales Director, MultiO delivers an ROI in enjoyment. Indeed, MultiO will transform the swimming pool—an instrument of relaxation and pleasure—into a key component of tomorrow’s sustainable housing. A set of unprecedented circumstances occurring simultaneously forms the foundation of MultiO. On the one hand, the climate emergency requires improved water use in housing. On the other hand, the pandemic and environmental context is leading to increasing investment by individuals in the comfort of their homes and in their energy independence. Finally, Wallonia is home to two European leaders in two different segments of water treatment. Looking to the future, they realized that their destinies are closely intertwined and that together they could play a structuring role in the market. Learn more about the MultiO project
